Call for Flash Talks

We invite young researchers to contribute a flash talk to the fourth edition of QuiDiQua.

Flash talks are intended primarily for PhD students and early-career postdoctoral researchers wishing to present recent results, ongoing work, new ideas, or open problems related to the topics of the conference.

Each flash talk will consist of a 7-minute presentation followed by 3 minutes for questions.

Participants are asked to submit an extended abstract of 1–2 pages describing the content of their talk.

The submission deadline is August 31st, 2026.

Submission procedure

To submit a flash talk, participants must first register for the conference via the Registration tab.

Once registered, ensure you are logged in and navigate to the top-right corner of the page. Click on the dropdown icon (downward arrow) next to the circle containing your initials. In the menu that appears, select My submissions.

From there, follow the submission workflow to upload your abstract. At the end of the process, please confirm your submission. A confirmation email will be sent automatically.

Selection

A total of 16 flash talk slots are available.

In case of more submissions than available slots, contributions will be selected by the Scientific and Organizing Committees based on relevance and balance within the programme.
